Road to Dusi programme coming up

Don’t miss the opportunity to learn how to challenge yourself to paddle one of South Africa's greatest river races.

Keen on a river challenge?

Ever thought of paddling the mighty Dusi River Marathon or the Fish River Marathon but don’t know how to get started?

Hurry to Victoria Lake Canoe Club (VLC) to get the low down on how this can be achieved.

Last year, VLC launched their Novice to Fish programme (GCN, February 6), which is aimed at getting novice paddlers from zero to hero.

The programme is back again and will commence on January 26 at the club, situated at Germiston Lake.

“This will be our second year running the programme and we intend going big this year, everybody is welcome,” said VLC’s Wayne Saunders.

“We will be focussed on the introduction of canoeing, among other things, so join us and get first-hand insight on how to start paddling and what needs to happen to get you to your first ever river adventure.”

For more information contact Wayne Saunders on 082 414 8627 or email to vlcroadtodusi@gmail.com.
