Weather service warns of localised flooding

With rain forecast till Friday the South African Weather Service has today released a warning of localised flooding in parts of the province.

The flooding is focused on but not limited to the suburban areas of Gauteng.

In addition the service has warned that hot and humid weather will result in extremely uncomfortable conditions over northern Gauteng.

Commuters are urged to take the recommended precautions when travelling, including maintaining a safe following distance, reducing speed and keeping their head lights on making their vehicle easier to see, as well as, keeping hydrated.
