Local football club begins training
Senior clubs at the Germiston City Football Club are set to start training on Sunday.
After the much-needed holiday, the Germiston City Football Club’s senior teams will commence with training on Sunday, January 10.
“After our first season in the ELFA Super League, where we finished a credible 12, we are looking to strengthen that to at least a top eight position in the commencing season,” said the club’s communications officer, Peter Oliver.
The training is set to start at 9.30am at the Germiston City Sports Club, situated on corner of Webber and Vimy Ridge.
“We are also hoping to have a meeting of managers and coaches after the training session, this includes juniors and interested parties.
“This is scheduled for 11.30am.”
