Woman gang raped, dropped off in Germiston

Police are asking the community for help to trace this wanted man.

The police are appealing to the community for help in tracing a suspect in a rape case.It is alleged that the man was one of a group of men who recently raped a woman in an abandoned house before dropping her off at a block of flats in Germiston.

It is further alleged that the men took turns to rape the victim the whole night.

The woman’s ordeal began when she approached a red and white taxi (the transport used by the gang) for a lift, in Alberton.

The taxi stopped for her.

The suspect is aged between 40 and 45 and speaks Zulu.

He is armed with a firearm and can be aggressive.

The man is light in complexion, skinny and tall.

It is believed the suspect is operating in the Alberton area and its surrounds.

The community is advised not to approach the man or men as they may be armed and dangerous.
