Principal and children thrilled by police visit

Police build relationship with children.

The Primrose police’s Social Crime Prevention Unit recently visited Khulanathi Preschool, in Primrose.

The unit was accompanied by Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police, and members of Primrose Crime Prevention Youth Desk.

The team taught the children about different crimes, as well as what rights they have as children.

The visit ended with the children receiving toys donated by the Avril Elizabeth Home.

“Police are friends of the children and we want to have a good relationship with the children of the area.

“We will continue to teach children how to report any criminal activities,” said Maome.

The principal of Khulanathi Preschool, Selinah Dlamini, thanked the team for their visit.

“We appreciate the effort made by the Primrose police,” she said.
