Fun boere sports day to raise funds
Show your team spirit and help raise funds for charity.
Local hairdressing salon DJL Hair Studio is doing its bit for charity.
The salon will host a “Boere sports day” at Mr Porra, at the Pavilion, in Refinery Road, on November 8.
The day will be in aid of two charities, namely Epworth Children’s Village and Girl and Guys Dream Come True.
Teams of 10 or 20 can take part in the boere sports, at a cost of R50 per person.
Stalls will also be available on the day, for people to hire.
Businesses are welcome to come along and hire a table, where they can advertise their products at a fee.
There will be lots of fun for all, including face painting, popcorn and candy floss on sale, hairspraying and dancers.
The fun starts at 10am, so teams are advised to be there by 9.30am.
The festivities will end at 3.30pm.
There will be raffles and auctions during the day.
