Ithembelihle Lsen School’s musical concert took all those present by storm, recently.
Family and friends came in numbers to support the students, who had prepared for months for the show, which was titled ”Journey around the World”.
The concert was aimed at celebrating the cultures found in all the different countries in the world.
Each class had to choose a country, dress in the appropriate clothes and perform traditional songs.
Among other things, the students also informed the audience, through music and dance, of the different animals and indigenous plants found in the different countries.
Russia, Germany, France, Spain, Israel and Jamaica were among those represented.
While learning, the audience was well entertained, as the students also added humour in their performances.
