Police need help in tracing robbers

Help the Primrose police track down business robbers.

The Primrose police are appealing to anyone who can help with information that could lead to the arrest of business robbery suspects.

The robbery recently took place at the post office, in Sunnyridge.

“It is alleged that an unknown African man entered the cash office while employees were busy counting the money,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose SAPS.

“The robber threatened them with a firearm and took R22 000 in cash.

“After he had locked the employees in a safe at the post office, he vanished.

“As police we suspect that maybe the man was not working alone.”

Anyone with information about the incident and the possible location of the suspect or suspects can contact the Primrose SAPS on 011 842-0500, the Detective Branch on 011 776-1600 or 08600 10111, or report the information at their nearest police station.
