A Diepsloot-based hip-hop and amapiano music artist Calvin ‘Zetman Beatz’ Sibanda will release his first extended play (EP) in March.
This after Sibanda successfully released his first single track German Trumpet in November last year which received a positive reception from music lovers.
Sibanda said he fell in love with hip-hop music at the age of 12 and when amapiano music genre started to dominate the domestic market in 2019, he couldn’t resist his love for its sound.
“At the age of 12, I fell in love with hip-hop music. I would make drum beats using the school tables and in 2019 when I was doing matric I found myself falling in love with amapiano. I’ve always wanted to be a hip-hop producer but God made me versatile in a way that I produce all genres.”
The upcoming music artist star said his debut EP The Rise of the North which is set to be released in March would be available on all digital music platforms.
“My EP will be a combination of hip-hop and dance music and I think that makes me different from others.”
