JOBURG – Speaker of Council, Nonceba Molwele said Covid-19 will come to an end.
Speaker of Council, Nonceba Molwele has wished the Executive Mayor of the City of Johannesburg Geoff Makhubo a speedy recovery following testing positive for Covid-19.
Molwele also wished all councillors that were currently fighting Covid-19 at home a speedy recovery, “The people of Johannesburg are in need of your counsel and guidance during this time of crisis.
“I urge that we strengthen our unity in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic that continues proving enormously disruptive, upending lives, workplaces and economies across our country and the world over.
“This crisis will end, and it is our hope that the people of Johannesburg will not just survive the present difficulties, but emerge from this period with renewed energy, resilience, and capacity for innovation,” added Molwele.
