Sandton police station temporarily closed due to Covid-19

MORNINGSIDE – The station will remain closed until it has undergone a period of decontamination.]

The Sandton police station was closed with immediate effect on 28 July after a member of the police service tested positive for Covid-19.

According to South African Police Service spokesperson Captain Jeff Phora, the station’s community service centre (CSC) will be operating from the Gallo Manor satellite police station at 10 Bowling Road, Gallo Manor.

Communities serviced by the station are advised to call 10111 for all emergencies and complaints which need to be attended to by the Sandton police station.

“The telephone lines at Sandton police station CSC will not be accessible for the duration of closure,” said Phora.

The station will undergo a period of decontamination and the community will be informed when the station will be operational again.
