Renowned businesswoman and current Mrs SA Charity, Candice Robbertze, hosted an all-star fundraiser at La Rosa Mexican Grille, Montecasino, in aid of Cancer Association of South Africa (Cansa).
A fiesta-themed occasion was put in place to celebrate cancer survivors and raise funds for the worthy cause.
Emcee for the evening was Getroud met Rugby actor, David Louw as guests were entertained by performances from R&B singer LeAnne Dlamini, Tanya V and 7de Laan actress and singer Hildegardt Whites, who brought the crowd to their feet with her soulful rendition of Aretha Franklin’s You make me feel like a natural woman.
The evening also included a fashion show featuring designs by Mark of E, Ukara, What Ladies Luv and Shoptrend, just to name a few, and modelled by some of last year’s Mrs South Africa finalists.
“It was such an amazing event. I am overwhelmed with gratitude at the turnout and the money that was raised. A heartfelt thank you to everyone that contributed,” Robbertze concluded.
