Attend the Le Kap Lifestyle Fair at Steyn City

STEYN CITY – There's a lavish lifestyle fair that's about to take place in your area. Read to find out what it is.

 

For the first time, Le Kap Lifestyle Fair will be held at Steyn City on 10 June and organisers have promised that the event will showcase some of the finest and most lavish experiences modern lifestyles has to offer.

Steve Swanepoel, chief executive officer of Le Mag Publications Group and publishers of Le Kap Magazine said, “We are thrilled at the opportunity of bringing this incomparable event to Gauteng and delighted by the collaboration of many esteemed partnering names.”

Some of the most delectable gourmet foods will be prepared by the country’s best celebrity chefs including MasterChef South Africa judge, chef Benny Masekwameng; award-winning chef Chantel Darnall, who was voted South Africa’s Chef of the Year in 2014; Australian-born executive chef, Jane-Therese Mulry, executive chef at Saxon Hotel; Tsogo Sun’s Deena Naidoo; and Nathan Jacobs, head pastry chef at Saxon Hotel.

Cuisine offerings from these chefs will be served to guests in the Platinum VVIP lounge and the Lux VIP marquee.

The culinary experiences will be further enhanced by the complimentary wine tasting on offer by 10 premier South African wine estates which include Anthonij Rupert Wines, Tokara, Rust and Vrede, DeWetshof, Paul Cluver Wines, Haute Cabrière, Saronsberg and Meerlust.

Attendees of the event will also have the opportunity to purchase wines of their choice directly from estate representatives. Cocktails and spirits will also be available at cash bars throughout the day.

Self-taught, Zambian-born, unconventional violinist Caitlin De Ville will entertain guests by offering some of her finest renditions.

Some of South Africa’s leading fashion designers such as Gert-Johan Coetzee, Jacques Le Grange, Quiteria and George and Warrick Gautier will be joined by international brand Luisa Spagnoli in displaying some of their most elegant and sophisticated garments on the catwalk.

An impressive horsemanship display in the form of a Speed Stakes Competition presented by Steyn City Equestrian Centre will enhance the day’s proceedings.

An exclusive five-course gourmand dinner, prepared by chef Gerard Vingerling, the executive chef at the Palazzo Hotel Montecasino, takes place on 9 June as a precursor to this opulent event and costs R2 000 per person.
