Jam Jozi to take over Montecasino, expect some noise in the area

Montecasino, in association with Marshall Music and Sony ATV, will host a two-day picnic-style musical festival on 29 and 30 October.

The general manager of Montecasino, Glenn Joseph, said that due to the nature of this event, Jam Jozi, he would like to take the opportunity to alert community members that Montecasino might be noisier than usual this weekend.

The festival is set to commence on 29 October at 10am and will end at 10pm, while the event will run from 10am until 6pm on 30 October.

“I apologise for any inconvenience caused to you during this time and I can assure you that we have received council approval of all activities which will be well within our approved parameters. Montecasino will do our utmost to ensure that the experience is well managed and is safe and enjoyable for all concerned,” Joseph said.

He thanked community members for their understanding and said that the Montecasino precinct and its entertainment and lifestyle offerings would continue to add value to the Fourways area.

“The bright and beautiful Diwali Festival will also be celebrated this weekend. We wish all our Hindu residents a very happy Diwali, however, Montecasino has not granted permission for the use fireworks on our premises.”
