Find your favourite goodies at multiple markets

JOBURG – Check out who are the market regulars.

Joburg’s market scene is booming and City Buzz is filling you in on where you can find your market favourites.

Neighbourgoods Market, Market on Main, Fourways Farmer’s Market and Rosebank Sunday Market are just a few of the market favourites in the city and you should know that many of your favourite retailers are available at more than one of these markets.

We’ve compiled a list of some of the stores that you can find at multiple markets:

This store sells a number of delicious treats and sweets that can be enjoyed by children and adults. Lovers of hard candies can delight in decadent flavours such as pear and caramel, and gin and tonic at the Fourways Farmer’s Market, and Market on Main in Maboneng.

Bucckley&Boo is the brand which retails watches, bow ties, frames for sunglasses and cellphone covers all made using wood. This unique fashion is something you can find at Fourways Farmer’s Market and the Rosebank Sunday Market.

The chefs at Dig Inn are masters of cornbread creations. Using an old family recipe, the gentlemen at Market on Main, Neighourgoods Market and Fourways Farmer’s Market top the cornbread with delicious ingredients and serve a hearty market meal.

Neighbourgoods Market and Fourways Farmer’s Market is where you will find some not-so-traditional dim sum creations. Fillings at this stall include beef and ginger, Hong Kong pears and crab with cream cheese – delicious.

This retailer serves two creations at each of the markets they attend. They sing and chant as they put together chicken dishes and at another stall they produce tasty artisan cocktails – both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.

This one is for Pretoria and Johannesburg marketers. This designer clothing line is available at Fourways Farmer’s Market and 012 Central in Pretoria. Owner Winnie Maluleke creates one-of-a-kind pieces from factory off-cuts [pieces not intended to be used] making each piece truly unique.
