BREAKING NEWS: Scooter rider killed on William Nicol
HURLINGHAM - A man was killed this afternoon after a collision at the corner of Sterling Road and William Nicol Drive in Hurlingham.
Spokesperson for ER24 Russell Meiring said, “Paramedics, along with another service, arrived on the scene and found the patient lying in the middle of the road.
” Paramedics found that members of the public had already begun CPR on the man, who showed no signs of life.”
ER24 paramedics immediately took over treatment and initiated advanced life support interventions.
Meiring said, “Unfortunately, after a short time, no vital signs returned and the patient was declared dead on scene.”
The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
