Christmas in July at Cedar Square

CEDAR SQAURE – Winter Wonderland sees families bonding over Ice Age: Collision Course.

A Winter Wonderland-themed Christmas in July celebration saw children and their families enjoying fun games, tasty goodies and a screening of Ice Age: Collision Course movie at Cedar Square on 9 July.

The Winter Wonderland event was all thanks to Cinemark who wanted to thank their clients and families for their support during the year. Cinemark was established in 1971 and is an advertising sales company representing Ster-Kinekor and select independent cinemas.

With their popcorn and beverages in hand, the children and their families enjoyed the movie which was about Scrat, one of the characters, and his epic pursuit of the elusive acorn that catapults him into the universe where he accidentally sets off a series of cosmic events which transform and threaten the new Ice Age World.

To save themselves, Sid, Manny, Diego and the rest of the herd have to leave their homes and embark on a quest full of comedy and adventure, travelling to unusual new lands and encountering a host of colourful new characters.

It is the fifth instalment in the Ice Age film series and a sequel to 2012’s Ice Age: Continental Drift.

The film stars Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, Denis Leary, Queen Latifah, Keke Palmer, Jennifer Lopez, Simon Pegg and Chris Wedge all recapping their roles from previous films.
