Shaolin Monks

Straight from the birthplace of Kung Fu, the Shaolin Monks, who reside at the Shaolin Temple in China’s Henan province, return to Montecasino to demonstrate their authentic martial arts expertise in an awe-inspiring performance. This is a must-see this weekend because the show comes to a close on Sunday.

Gateway to Space

It’s time to discover, learn and experience! Walk around in a life-sized 15-metre space station core model, see a Sputnik-1 model, a full-size lunar rover model, an Orion capsule designed for future space exploration – and even touch a moon rock! There are 60 space attractions at Gateway to Space, taking place at the Sandton Convention Centre. This show runs until 31 July.

Zoo Trot at Johannesburg Zoo

Taking place on Sunday is the Zoo Trot at Johannesburg Zoo where you will be able to run or walk in a peaceful setting at this fun-filled event. The trot consists of a 5- or 10-kilometree fun run or walk inside the zoo grounds. This is the perfect day out if you are looking to spend some time with the family, to socialise or to just keep fit. Marvel at the beautiful, majestic animals while you walk and enjoy a picnic or meal at Café Fino afterwards.
