Monark and Majozi tour SA

JOBURG - Monark and Majozi are set to rock at Barnyards nationwide.

There’s nothing negative about Monark’s new tour which has already kicked off and is soon to make its way to Johannesburg.

Monark, the band which hails from the bustling City of Joburg, has teamed up with another local musician on their first-ever South African nationwide Barnyard tour to perform hits from their debut album, Negatives, released in 2014.

The four-piece band is taking its fresh and unique sounds to Barnyard Theatres across the country and will continue to set trends and stir up tastes in the South African music landscape.

Having dominated local airwaves with their first two singles, Smiling and Build It Up, the band will take the songs most loved by their fans onstage at a Barnyard Theatre closest to them.

Their energetic and polished live performances have been incredibly well received by their fans, with Monark performing on some of the top stages in the country and hottest festivals including Rocking the Daisies, Durban Day, Kirstenbosch Gardens, Parklife and 94.7 Joburg Day, among others – and their Barnyard performances are set to uphold their standard of stellar live performances.

To add to the experience, Durban-born, and now Joburg-residing, musician, Majozi is supporting Monark on their exciting tour of the country and will add his own indie-folk flair to each of the tour dates.

It’s set to be a mash-up of musical magic and it’s a tour that shouldn’t be missed by any of their adoring fans.

The tour kicked off on 6 June, but not to fear – they’re still making their way to Joburg on 22 June, so you haven’t missed it yet.
