Girl Power

RIVERSANDS - A muddy fun run is a great opportunity for a girls' dirty day out.

Reaffirming the meaning of girl power saw women coming in their numbers as they participated in the Muddy Princess fun run at Riversands Farm Village.

Founder of Muddy Princess, Frank Zaechel said, “The fun run was a huge success as women, along with their family members who came to support them, were enjoying themselves. The weather was beautiful and favourable for the race. We had a wonderful venue and lots to do and see which kept our spectators entertained while cheering our princesses on.”

According to Zaechel, the 5km fun run is the first South African obstacle mud run for women only and caters for all kinds of fitness levels – as long as participants can crawl, walk, run, climb, laugh and play. It is a great opportunity for a girls’ dirty day out, he added.

“The mud challenge is for pure fun as there was no competition and no timing on the races, it was all about women coming together to have lots of fun and laughter,” Zaechel said.

He concluded that Muddy Princess would definitely come back to Riversands Farm Village very soon and they looked forward to an even larger number of women in Gauteng joining them.
