Chartwell Country Estates (CCE) is hosting a community fun day known as Party-on-Romney at 134 Romney Avenue, on the corner of Third Road, on 14 May from 3pm to 10pm.
There will be gentle live music, Copperlake Breweries will sell beer and food will be on sale, as well as a big bonfire to keep everyone warm. There will also be jumping castles for the children to enjoy and lucky draws and prizes up for grabs.
“Our intention is to help bring together the surrounding local communities to enjoy the beauty of Chartwell’s rural environment and conservancy which means everyone is welcome. We encourage people to order pre-tickets to assist with catering requirements,” said chairperson of the CCE board, Ben Jowitt.
Early bird tickets for adults will be R60 which will include one free Copperlake beer, one boerewors roll or prego roll and an entry into the lucky draw. Tickets for children under the age of 12 will be R40 which will include one boerewors roll or prego roll and entry onto the jumping castle.
If you buy tickets on the day, they will cost R20 for entry only but do not come with the complementary additions.
