Lifestyles of the rich and famous

MONTECASINO - Penthouse suites, beauty treatments and lobster dinners, 20 South African celebrities got the chance to experience it all, to celebrate Tsogo Sun's Roulette Masters tournament.

This is the second year Tsogo Sun is running the tournament

Bringing their own unique style to the event were celebrities Khanyi Mbau, Jack Parow, DJ Fresh, Poppy Notshongwana, Anais de Jager, Chris Mapane, Riky Rick and Sinazo Yolwa. The guests were whisked away to the Palazzo hotel at Montecasino in a limo. At the hotel they were treated to champagne, caviar and their own personal butlers before being offered an afternoon of indulgences.

Each celebrity guest was given a personalised lavish experience including beauty treatments, a high tea in the Rose Garden, and a cocktail making experience at Jenda. Also included was a personal chef in the form of the Palazzo hotel’s acclaimed executive chef, Gerard Vingerling.

After hours of pampering the guests emerged from their luxury rooms dressed to the nines and ready to sit down to a delectable three-course meal. After dinner, the guests were accompanied by their personal bodyguards, along with a suitcase full of casino chips to try their hand at roulette.

In an exciting development the day after the high roller experience, Tsogo Sun announced that due to the overwhelming response from the public since the tournament started on 19 January, an extra R500 000 has been added to the prize pool, taking the eventual prize money to a minimum total of R2.2 million, with the eventual winner walking away with R1.3 million.
