UB40 to perform in Jozi

JOBURG – One of the most successful bands of all time, UB40, is set to mesmerise Joburg audiences later this year.

Three of the founding members, including original vocalist Ali Campbell, have reunited for a tour that includes a concert at the Johannesburg Botanic Gardens, Emmarentia.

The British reggae-pop crossover band has enjoyed over 50 hit singles and worldwide album sales in excess of 70 million.

The band will delight audiences with all-time classics like Red Red Wine, Kingston Town and Can’t help falling in love.Promoter Mike Pocock said, “UB40′s simple formula of accessible reggae, catchy songs and electrifying live performances continues to draw massive crowds as they tour the world’s top venues in their fourth decade together.”
