King's College and Preparatory School and Fourways Action Sports celebrates victory.

It was a proud moment for King’s College and Preparatory School as five of its learners were selected for the Gauteng Dance Sport Schools League team.
This was after the learners had competed in the inter-provincial tournament.

King’s College congratulated Kiyaan Naidoo and Angel Chiswanda for winning the group dance while Rifumo Hlungwani and Alex Maynard came second in the same category.

Okeoghene Ekpeto became the star of the group even though she earned the second spot for her solo dance. She was also selected for the All-Star team that is set to represent South Africa at the World Championships in the United Kingdom in August next year.

The learners were under the leadership of Kylie Magwaza. who also received her flowers for helping the dancers to prepare and compete.
Meanwhile, Fourways Action Sports commended their two cricket teams for receiving medals in the Junior IPTS in Pietermaritzburg.

The results were as follows:

  • U16 NWG competed in the plate final
  • U16 NWG Falcons competed in the bronze final
  • U18 NWG won a silver medal in the final.
