The Festival of Motoring’s 6th Edition

Festival of Motoring aims to provide an exciting and interactive three-day event from August 25 – 27 at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit.

Wesbank’s full mobility journey will be on display at this year’s 6th Edition of the Festival of Motoring. This exciting and interactive three-day event will take place from August 25–27 at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit, and aims to deliver a motoring extravaganza for car enthusiasts and visitors alike.

As the headline partner of this annual event, WesBank plans to show its commitment to support events and experiences that delight and inspire its customers. Wesbank will be joined by relevant partners to display their extensive range of products and solutions within the mobility ecosystem.

“The festival is so much more than a branding opportunity for us; it enables us to unlock real value for our customers. It also provides us with the perfect venue and an ideal opportunity to connect directly with consumers, meet prospective vehicle owners, and assist them in navigating through the car buying, financing, and ownership journey with ease,” says Ghana Msibi, WesBank CEO.

“The event enables us to bridge the gap between us as the financier, and the consumer. Together with other key players within the group, FNB, and MotoVantage, we take visitors to our stands on a journey across the different offerings within both the vehicle and asset finance, as well as the retail finance stables.”

Festivalgoers will be afforded an opportunity to interact with the popular FNB app in real-time, to see how seamless and user-friendly it is to use solutions, such as Marketplace, FastApp, and a Virtual Dealer when buying or selling a car.

“Our involvement in this annual motoring festival enables us to contribute to an event that stimulates interest and creates excitement within an ecosystem about which we are both passionate and invested. With a car showroom displaying all the latest vehicles and models to satisfy even the most passionate of petrol heads to exciting new technologies and interactive innovations within the mobility ecosystem, consumers are in for a treat at every turn,” commented Msibi.

While the three-day event promises to provide visitors with a unique opportunity to touch, feel, and even drive in some of the most exciting new vehicles coming into the market, it will also provide an experiential lifestyle show for the whole family and deliver pure entertainment and enjoyment from start to finish.
