St Peter’s College cricket team showed no mercy to Hyde Park High School during their first match of 2022

SUNNINGHILL– Short praised his first team players and their technical team for what he described as fantastic performance in their first match of 2022.

St Peter’s College cricket first team started the 2022 season on a high note after thrashing Hyde Park High School by 310 runs on January 29.

Head of sport at St Peter’s College Dave Short said, “Congratulations to our boys and their technical team for their stunning performance. Well done do to our two shining players Grant Hunter and Saiyen Subban for a fantastic batting skill displayed during the match against Hyde Park High School.

Grant Hunter made 131 runs not out and Saiyen Subban scored 101. St Peter’s College were 357/2 after 45 overs. David Hunter also displayed high form during the match as he got five wickets for five runs and our team won by 310 runs.”

Short added that Hyde Park were bowled out for only 47 runs.
