Onwards and upwards for freestyle motocross rider

Douglasdale – Jungle Rush FMX grows as freestyle motocross gains momentum in South Africa.

Freestyle motocross ace, Dallan Goldman has returned from a successful trip to the USA and is promoting the FMX scene again in South Africa.

The head of the Jungle Rush FMX, and Douglasdale resident, had two demonstrations in South Africa already and included his teammates Mike Oyston, Nick de Wit and Jacques Human.

“I then spent the following two weeks building a new Jungle Rush FMX park on the Terra Topia motocross park facility [in Northern Farm],” he said.

“This includes two FMX landings and a dirt tabletop. Once things are more settled and we have some sponsors on board, we can add some more dirt sections to the compound so the facility is more accessible and easier to learn how to jump properly for beginners.”

Goldman, who has won numerous titles at the annual King of the Whip competition in Randburg, said he wants to establish a fun and safe facility for people to train at.

He is also looking forward to teaching up-and-coming riders to jump safely without pressure, and hosting events next year.

But before that, Jungle Rush FMX will compete at the Kimberley Diamond Cup at the end of November.
