Youngsters are encouraged to give soccer a try at Midrand United FC

MIDRAND – The Midrand United Football Club invite players to join the club ahead of the upcoming season.

Midrand United Football Club invites the local community to engage with the club ahead of the season.

The club was founded in 2018 by coach and chairperson Morgan Moodley to provide quality soccer training for players to enhance their social, emotional and physical health in a positive environment. Moodley said, “There is no other feeling quite like helping young athletes further develop their natural persistence, determination, discipline and respect for others, not only in competition but in life too.

The 2021 season of recreational soccer kicks off on 10 April. “It is fair to mention that Midrand United Football Club will have a positive impact on the lives of youth from Midrand and surrounding areas.”

The club is proud to announce that their new home grounds will be at Midrand Christian College in Halfway Gardens. Their practices will take place from 4.30pm to 6pm on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, and 10am on Saturday. They would like to invite interested residents to sign up at the club as players or for sponsorship. “We strive to be the foundation sporting activity of choice to promote positive attitudes through family and community involvement in sport.”

Residents interested in joining the Midrand United Football Club family can contact Moodley on 071 646 2130.
