RIVERSANDS – Braving the cold winter morning, bikers rode in either a 45km, 18km, 5km or 2km challenge

Mountain bike racing and trail running were the order of the day as parents and their children of various schools participated in the Beaulieu Challenge at Riversands Farm Village Market.

“The annual Beaulieu Challenge is a much-anticipated event on the school’s and the community’s calendar,” said event organiser Kirsty Searle.

“It’s a fundraiser for the school [Beaulieu] and its chosen beneficiaries. A big part of the event is uniting and expanding the community interest in outdoor activities and healthy living, whilst bringing together families for a fun-filled day.”
