Ian Foster, vice-president of Leeuwkop Country Club added, “We hope that this will become a social hub. The Leeuwkop Country Club is very thankful to Grant Walker, the owner of CMC Networks, for the sponsorship of a renovated clubhouse. The space is more open and more inviting, which will hopefully encourage the public to come to this space and to get to know each other as a community.”

Boehm said, “Some of the members said that the clubhouse is now a place where they could bring their wives and enjoy a nice evening with them.”

The country club is now also hosting live music every Friday evening. “We really hope that this will bring people together. We want social members to come over weekends and enjoy themselves, combined with nice music,” said Foster.

“The project, as a whole, took six weeks to complete. We wanted it ready for when the public got back in the new year,” said Boehm. He added that they want the country club to be jampacked with people who are getting to know each other, as well as for some well-deserved family time.
