Ram Slam T20 competition,is bigger and better

JOBURG - Local cricket fans are in for a major treat with the hugely popular Catch a Million competition now offering every South African fan the opportunity to win their share of R1 million.

The competition provides fans with an amazing chance to win by successfully completing a clean one-handed catch at any televised RAM Slam T20 Challenge across the country.

In another major development for the competition, the prize pool for this season’s event has increased by more than 200 percent.

“The Ram Slam is getting bigger each season and this year we have increased the total prize money pool to R4 million,” said Cricket South Africa chief executive officer, Haroon Lorgat.

The winning team will bag the R2.7 million first prize while the runners-up will take home R1.3 million.

In an exclusive interview with the North Eastern Tribune, Bizhub Highveld Lions leg spinner Eddie Leie praised Ram Slam for coming up with another great initiative to entertain the fans.

“A big thank you to the sponsors for always keeping the fans involved in the game,” said the Lions star. Leie said he is happy with his performances so far this season and hopes to improve as the campaign hits its final stages.
