BRYANSTON – A Bryanston Sports Club bowler has been selected for the South Africa Lawn Bowls team to play in a prestigious Atlantic bowls tournament.

Prince Neluonde is preparing to go to Cyprus from 30 November to 13 December to represent the country. The tournament will be contested by 16 countries bordering the Atlantic Ocean. These countries include England, Scotland, Wales, Cyprus, Jersey, Portugal, Canada, Guernsey, Ireland, Israel, South Africa, Spain, Namibia, Malta, Netherlands and the United States of America.

“Prince will be leading in the fours and trips,” said Tony Mazaris, a member of the club’s committee. The other teammates joining Neluonde are Gerry Baker, Pierre Breytenbach, Jason Evans and Rudi Jacobs.

“All of us at Bryanston Sports Club wish Prince and the team everything of the best and hope they bring back the medals,” added Mazaris.
