Swimming to Singapore
SUNNINGHILL - Electric Eels competitive swimming club based in Sunninghill will have two of their young swimmers represent South Africa at an international competition in Singapore from 25 to 30 August this year.
Sean Moodley (15) and Jade Neser (15) will participate in the fifth Fédération Internationale de Natation (Fina) or the International Swimming Federation, World Junior Swimming Championships.
The pair have been with Electric Eels for many years and this marks a high point in both their swimming careers. Coach Lynne Stockton has trained the swimmers in the lead-up to the competition, and the club wishes to send their best wishes with Moodley and Neser as they set out to swim their best in Singapore next month.
