Bodybuilder to compete in Canada
DAINFERN - Sheldon Valjalo, a past Dainfern resident and current Cape Town student, placed in the top three of the International Federation of Bodybuilding (IFBB) and Fitness Championship and has now gained his Western Provincial Colours.
Not only has the 21-year-old represented the province he studies at but he has also competed in the SA Championship and won the title of Mr SA Fitness, much to the delight of many female friends.
Valjalo also represents The University of Cape Town in rugby as he is currently on the first team. “I have always wanted to achieve green and gold colours for South Africa in sport including bodybuilding,” Valjalo said.
He will now go on to compete in Canada, representing South Africa in the IFBB World Championship, where he will compete with bodybuilders from around the world.
Valjalo’s friends and family are extremely proud of him and know he will place highly on the day.
