My brother is a Metro police officer. He has told me stories about what motorists try to get away with.
Now that I have seen the video of Clive Naidoo (the man who recorded a female Metro police officer who pulled him over for not stopping at a traffic light), I was shocked at how the motorist treated the officer and still expected the officer to be nice to him.
Of course any human being would be irritated by someone filming them doing their work. But the incident also shows what type of ill-treatment officers receive. How on earth do you raise your voice and tell someone that you pay their salary? That is very disrespectful. While trying to catch corrupt officials, the public is taking advantage of cops who work hard, and provoke them by taking their photos and making videos. I am glad that most people on social media shared their views on the video and stated that the motorist was pushing his luck by expecting the cop to be polite while he demeaned her.
