Hit and run victim wants justice

FOURWAYS - Just over two weeks ago, I was the victim of a hit and run "accident" in the alley parking next to the Pro Shop on the corner of William Nicol Drive and Leslie Avenue.

All the parking in front was taken up by frantic shoppers who had decided to take advantage of the Pro Shop sale, including me.

I was assisted by a lovely young woman who helped me to my car, carrying my purchases. As we were walking down the alley, we heard the sound of a large vehicle approaching and I turned around to see my nightmare!

A silver double cab hit me and rode over my foot. The driver reversed and asked, “Are you okay?”

I was shocked and stunned. I had nothing else to say but, ” I think I am”. Then he drove off.

I laid there, elbow bleeding, hand strained, foot broken. I had landed on my hip and shoulder.

I had no chance of getting his registration number or his name. I think that he is a cad of note.

My medical aid has been stretched to the limit and my body is still making me lose my sense of humour.

If he reads this, then he will know who he is.

You missed the sale, because you left a lady in the car park.
