Fourways-based nonprofit spreads love and care to surrounding communities
Con Brio Cares is making waves in Fourways and surrounding communities by addressing the critical needs of residents through donations and community involvement.
Con Brio Cares, a Fourways-based nonprofit organisation, is making a significant impact in surrounding communities through generous donations and ongoing support initiatives.
Recently, they donated 160 ‘Jars of Hope’ to a community school in Muldersdrift, providing essential items for students and teachers.

Alongside the jars, the organisation provided books and sporting equipment for various school activities, including netball, soccer, and rugby.
Elindi van den Heever, the founder of the organisation, explained that this generous contribution comes at a time when the school has been struggling with a severe lack of equipment, relying on makeshift cones for soccer goal posts and a single dilapidated netball hoop that is in dire need of repair.
“The school is also currently facing a pressing need for non-perishable food items, as they strive to provide daily meals for the children. Children’s comfort and safety is threatened by the urgent need for tiles or carpets to cover their floors, among other essential resources.”

The organisation also contributed to the Woman and Men Against Child Abuse clinic in Alexandra, donating clothing, shoes, and essential items.
Con Brio Cares is now focusing on supporting the elderly population in local homes for the aged, seeking donations of non-perishable food items and other essentials. They are also requesting items such as new underwear for children, menstrual hygiene products, and toys.
The organisation invites the community to support its ’Branches of Care’, which encompasses basic needs, education, environmental and animal welfare, and support for individuals affected by rare diseases. Donations can be dropped off at designated locations, and volunteering opportunities are available.
