From timid child to fabulous leader, Gadifele tells her inspiring journey
Gadifele Moeng is proud to have been recognised after changing the lives of the youth in the community.
Gadifele Moeng, founder of The Future Leaders programme is beaming with excitement as she has been nominated for the prestigious Fabulous Woman Awards.
The awards honour women and girls who have done outstanding work towards the empowerment and advancement of women.

This recognition is a milestone for Moeng and her programme, which aims to empower young individuals in public speaking, communication, and leadership skills.
Moeng’s journey to success was not easy. She recalled as a child she was ‘incredibly timid’ and longed for someone to believe in her and guide her.
She didn’t have that support, and as an adult, she found herself without clear goals or direction.
“My life felt monotonous, devoid of excitement or challenge,” she said.
But everything changed in 2016 when Moeng embarked on a personal development journey. She discovered that public speaking was one of the greatest fears people have and decided to teach it to children aged 10 to 17.

“If kids learn this skill early, the world will be their oyster.
“The benefits of these skills are endless. They empower young individuals to give and receive constructive feedback, think critically, and develop essential leadership and communication abilities.”
Moeng’s story has been one of personal growth and resilience.
“Learning to embrace challenges has been a cornerstone of my journey. From a timid child to being nominated for the Fabulous Woman Awards, my story shows that hard times are blessings in disguise.”
Her inspiring journey and her programme have transformed the lives of numerous young individuals in the community. She believes in the can-do attitude and advises the youth always to put it at the forefront.
“Embrace your challenges for they may become the stepping stones to your greatest achievements.”
