As a real estate office, Harcourts 4Ways often connects with individuals who are moving, or downsizing, making them ideal partners for collecting much-needed items.

Harwood was left with a lot of gratitude for the donations of clothing, blankets, gently used handbags, and repairable electrical appliances from the Repair Café, which she received for her charity.

“These items will go a long way in supporting those who are struggling,” she said.

Susan Harwood, the founder of Bags of Love, also expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Harcourts, and the community for their support. She could not stop beaming with joy alongside the Harcourts 4Ways team as they proudly displayed their first batch of donations.

This initiative is set to become an ongoing project for the Harcourts 4Ways office, to highlight their commitment to giving back to the community, according to Sue Glanville, a non-principal property practitioner at Harcourts.

She said their office, located at the corner of Penguin Drive and Leslie Avenue, serves as a convenient drop-off point for community donations.

“Donations are welcome from 09:00 to 15:00 on week days,” she added.

To raise awareness about the charity and the most needed donation items, some of the Harcourts team members took to the streets on Mandela Day to distribute flyers to the community.

Harwood said, “Nothing in life has a higher return on investment than being kind.”

“We encourage everyone to support this worthy cause and join Harcourts 4Ways and Bags of Love in their mission to spread kindness and compassion. Together, we can create a brighter future for those in need,” Glanville concluded.
