“We have been blown away by the response from our community, the outpouring of support from donors and supporters has been incredible”.

The clinic is distributing the blankets directly to patients at the clinic, regardless of age or gender. “We understand that many patients come early to brave the cold weather, making it essential to provide warmth and comfort,” added Shange.

Shange said the primary focus has always been empowerment and betterment of our community, providing excellent patient-centric primary healthcare, and social services in response to the needs of our community, especially those without medical insurance.

“We are proud to be making a difference in the lives of those around us. The Clinic has partnered with the Love Light Care Foundation, Cedar Lakes Care, and Adcock Ingram to amplify the campaign’s impact. These organisations have been instrumental in supporting us and our patients throughout this campaign.”

The clinic is excited to launch future campaigns, extending its support to the community in various ways.

“We envision the Winter Warmer campaign growing beyond just blankets and clothes, aiming for sustainability. We will announce our next initiatives soon.

“The most heartwarming aspect of the campaign has been the overwhelming response from the community. We are humbled by their generosity and commitment to helping others,” said Shange.
