Paddle up for a good cause

Oh Lord Events initiative brings together a community to have fun while benefitting a worthy cause.

The High Five Padel fundraiser, organised by Oh Lords Events, has come to a close, and the results were nothing short of astounding. The event brought together over 24 enthusiastic players, generous sponsors, and a community eager to support a good cause.

The fundraiser featured an impressive array of sponsored prizes courtesy of Retail Insight, which added an extra layer of excitement to the tournament. Excitement was certainly the name of the game, as the event raised an astonishing R15 000.

High Five Fund is a dynamic non-profit organisation dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of individuals and communities in need.

“Our mission is to create a world where compassion and kindness thrive, ensuring the welfare and protection of animals, children, and the environment,” said Peta-Ann Lord, organiser of Oh Lord Events.

“Congratulations go out to the winning duo, Jason and Tyler, who took home the top prize. But it wasn’t just the winners who walked away with something special, every participant received a thoughtful gift bag filled with goodies from Retail Insight, including a bag, sun hat, and water bottle.
