9-year-old’s journey of being a young author
Noah Loots completes and publishes his first book at the age of 9, a book that goes from his imagination to publication.
A young author has inspired others with his adventurous tale of courage and teamwork. Meet Noah Loots a talented and ambitious 9-year-old author from Dainfern, who has published his already first book.
“Noah’s passion for writing began when he started blogging about various topics, including his favourite subject, the history of sports cars, using his mother’s laptop,” explained his father Andrie Loots.

It was a mobile game designed for six-year-olds that sparked his creative journey. The game inspired him to write his own story, which eventually became “Zombie School Invasion”.
Noah’s school had a lesson on book writing, including creating a physical book, and he was hooked. He drew inspiration from the game and began crafting his own adventure story. That resulted in a thrilling tale about brave children outsmarting zombies, teaching valuable lessons about courage and teamwork, added Loots.
Noah’s parents are proud of their son’s accomplishment and are doing their best to manage his time healthily. While they encourage his creative pursuits, they also want to ensure that he has a balance between schoolwork and extracurricular activities.

It took Noah three years to finish his book, with his parents playing a pivotal role in nurturing his talent. His mother serves as his book editor and both parents provide unwavering support and encouragement.

The book has been professionally published and is now available on Amazon. The cover is going to undergo some changes to ensure it aligns with the family’s Christian values, but the book remains an exciting and entertaining read for kids.
As Noah celebrates with excitement his first book published, he looks ahead to a future filled with endless possibilities and opportunities.
