Lutta Franko: Youth Day is important yes, but I don’t think it still relevant and celebrated like it used to be. The new generation does not even know why we have Youth Day.
With Youth Day upon us, we asked the youth within the community if they felt the goals the memorial holiday hopes to achieve are being met.

Keisha Moses: Youth day is still important but I feel like we no longer acknowledge as we should, especially the youth.Oluhle Daliwonga: Yes, I think the day is still relevant but not as it used to be.
