Crawford Lonehill learners come on top

Crawford International Lonehill College celebrates learners who did well in their academics.

The atmosphere at Crawford International Lonehill College was heartwarming and joyful when the school hosted The Cum Laude Awards Assembly, an occasion that recognises learners who are in their top form.

The learners, parents, and staff came together to celebrate and honour the remarkable achievements of these exceptional young movers and shakers. They could not help it but beam with pride as everyone gathered to recognise the hard work and dedication that led to this well-deserved recognition.

Robyn Swanepoel, the client executive officer of the school, said this prestigious recognition is specifically reserved for individuals who have had the honour of representing their country and earning their Protea colours.

She added that it serves as a testament to their outstanding performance and exceptional achievements in their specific areas of expertise.

These five outstanding students, Piin How Chen, Arav Harrielal, Serita Annamalai, Kayden Eckert, and Andrew Coucourakis-Vermaak, have been acknowledged for their talent, unwavering dedication, and outstanding contributions.

Piin, who is in Grade 10, said having discussions in the classroom with the teacher, is an activity that he loves the most. He said he is grateful that his family is always so supportive of him.

“I am so proud and happy about my achievement. I would love to pursue something within the engineering field because I do not know which one as yet. I made sure to celebrate my achievement by spending time with the team and enjoying our win.”

He said math is his favourite subject at school because it only has one answer.
