Dainfern College is proud of its learners, staff members, and alumni who ran in the Two Oceans.

The head of isiZulu from Dainfern College Zinhle Ndaba, expressed her admiration for the remarkable performances of the school’s runners who recently took part in the gruelling 25th Two Oceans Marathon in Cape Town.
Ndaba herself crossed the finish line in 2:48:17.
The marathon was a true display of strength, perseverance, and unwavering commitment, as learners, teachers, and alumni pushed themselves beyond their limits to complete the race.

“This is a two-day marathon; a 56km ultramarathon where runners run past the famous Chapmans Peak; the second day is a 21km half marathon. This year, it was special as they were celebrating 25 years of existence,” said Ndaba.
Ndaba felt exhilarated when she crossed the finish line with her learners cheering her on. For her, nothing beats that feeling of accomplishment and said it’s a moment of pure joy and triumph that she always cherishes.

“It was an amazing race and experience, with precious new friendships made while running. My special moments were when I entered the field to the finishing line and heard small voices cheering me on. I knew it was Dainfern College ex-pupils as they were saying, ‘go, ma’am’.”
