Varsity college gives students a memorable welcome

The students had fun getting to know each other even more during the party.

Altitude Beach hosted Varsity College’s fresher’s ball on March 8, giving first-year students a memorable welcome party. DJ Tshegu, Leemckrazy ‘wena wa pallwa’ hit maker, and Le Nanza, made it to the party’s lineup among other musicians.

The event was themed ‘Back 2 the 2k’ and the students dressed up to rise to the occasion.

Varsity College’s Anto Kagisho said, “The Back 2 The 2K’s is an event for the students to rock their youth and embrace their present times by dressing up in outfits that best represent their youth. The night took to highlight the era of their youth – be it that you are comfortable in a crop top and cargo pants, great or you love the jean-to-jean concept, but yeah. It was all about them showing up the best way they know how to and to celebrate their 2K’ness if we can put it that way.”
