It is safe to say Fourways Gardens Estate is were the party is during the holidays.

The Fourways Gardens Estate community is switching things up this festive season when it comes to fun activities.

On November 25, the young ones in the estate gathered for a show of note. Comedian Darin McDowall, popularly known as Darin the Magician, was the entertainer of the day and brought Rudolph the puppet along to spice things up.
But that was not all, they also received party packs and Christmas hats.

The excitement was even greater when Santa Claus was spotted walking down a path in the park. The children ran up to meet him and they could not wait for their turn to sit on his lap for an inspiring pep talk.

The estate’s Elmine Clarke said, “The kids were treated to cookie decorating and each one received a kit that included a biscuit, icing and sprinkles – very messy, but delicious and so much fun. Even though we had temperatures of 36 degrees Celsius on the day, the little people waited patiently for their turn to meet Santa and even he commented on the good manners of his little visitors.”

As the sun was setting, it was time for the annual festive show to start. Gaye Cawood Realty, who was the sponsor for both these events, decorated the area beautifully and put so much effort into the community.

“There were beautiful fairy lights all over the tent to remind us of the magic of this time of the year. Hundreds of helium balloons with long strings were hanging from the roof of the tent and the children had a ball catching them and tying them to their arms.”

And with that being said, Merry Christmas to you and yours.
