Dainfern College learners visit Monte Theatre

Learners of Dainfern College were super excited and developed more love for theatre.

Grade 9 and 10 dramatic art learners of Dainfern College were recently given a guided tour of the Montecasino Theatre complex.

Theatre manager Mark Sage shares the history of Pieter Toerien Theatre and the Teatro with learners.

They were given an opportunity to explore the Pieter Toerien Theatre and the Teatro, gaining insights into the facilities from both technical and practical perspectives. The learners enjoyed the experience.

The theatre manager and a parent of the school, Mark Sage, shared the backgrounds and history while giving an informative tour of the spaces. He explained thoroughly the root of the attractions. According to the head of dramatic arts of the school, Kelly-Lynn Oosthuizen, “The learners undoubtedly left with renewed inspiration and enthusiasm for the theatre industry. They also gained a broader understanding of the diverse opportunities available in the industry beyond acting.”
