The Grade 3 learners from Curro Douglasdale took an imaginable trip to space when they got creative while learning about the solar energy system.

The learners were able to understand how sunlight is converted into electrical energy and appliances that it is able to supply power.

William Damon enjoyed the informative lesson.

They were also taught how the use of solar energy reduces electricity costs and can be used on both small and large scales. This came right on time just before the power utility announced this week that the country is now on stage six of load-shedding.
