Learners enjoy first outing

The pupils from Crawford International in Fourways had lots of fun while learning about milk during a trip to a dairy factory.

Crawford International in Fourways had a fun outing for learners in Grade 0 to learn about how raw milk is processed and makes its way to the bottles.

The learners expressed their love for milk as an important ingredient to make breakfast before they can go to school. That is the same reason their school teacher, Suzie Ibitoye, thought of taking them out and exploring where it all comes from.

“It was their first outing to the Douglasdale Dairy. They also got an opportunity to feed the calves and have a look at how the factory works,” she explained.
